I turned 18 in Camelot, 21 in the middle of Viet Nam. Most people shift their views a good bit in 50 years, though I’m an outlier— fairly consistent.

I’m fairly consistent as well. I turned 18 not long after the draft ended, voted in my first election for Jimmy Carter against Ronald Reagan, went through my early adult years during the “greed is good” presidency.
