Perhaps you noticed the press about him in the Islamic world? No? Well it was universally laudatory, to the extent that the main editor for the Middle East at the NYT was fired for expressing love and respect for the spiritualism and wisdom of the terrorist.

What some may say, in English, in the USA is irrelevant to the larger picture.
