I save all my devastating endings for the Israeli movies I watch to try to improve my Hebrew. Middle Easterners are as bad as Europeans for that crap. Are English speakers alone in liking happy endings?

I like bad endings. I saw the otherwise forgettable movie “Repo Men” with Jude Law and Forrest Whitaker and the total 180 in the last few minutes saved it from being just action film.
