It’s not the first time you completely ignore the people who started flinging insults and then jump on those who respond in kind to your friends.

To some, quotes such as

Bigot? Oh yeah, my whole family is bigoted against morons.
You know, progressives.

and

Lets try to keep my absolute, unbridled, undisguised contempt and disgust for progressives as a different thing.

are not insults. They’re factual premises that serve as a starting point for debate. And obviously, responding to such clear, provable, statements of fact with insults is a sign of weak debating skills.
