I didn’t say it was a good argument. I just think it is the one that Alito and Thomas would buy if they were willing to side with Trump on this one.

Also, this is the thing that has confused me the most about so many on the Republican side. They have to know that he is bad for the zombified corpse of the conservative movement, and yet every time they have an opportunity to cut him loose… they don’t.
