Yesterday, two officers brought a guy in for retail theft. the guy became irate and started asking why he was locked up. When the officer tried to calm him down, he stood up and yelled, “This is why you f**king white boys are gettin’ shot!”
True story.

Mind you, he yelled that in the district where Officer Pawlowski died twelve hours earlier. The fact that the man was not touched says a great deal about my fellow officers.
