Yes. It was the mental deficiency claim that sunk him. He had no grounds whatsoever to ask for annulment. That HE was the cheat, left his wife and children, then tried to say SHE was mentally deficient, when it was said because it was the only reason he MIGHT be able to make stick, (since he abandoned the family, not her) really pissed everyone off. She was no where NEAR mentally deficient. He just said anything he had too to get the annulment, so he could marry the homewrecker in the church. The hypocrisy was too much, even for the moonbat libs in Massachusetts.
