Not at all… Jews are a sciencey people.

Plus we have pretty good reading comprehension. We’ve noticed that the Book of Genesis has two creation narratives, wherein things don’t happen in the same order, things aren’t done by the methods, we take that as a big fat blinking neon sign that the reader isn’t intended to take either narrative as a literal factual recounting.

Christians seem to be quite good at ignoring inconsistency. Truth be told when I go to church it’s for the music. When the music stops I’m ready to go.
