I’m sure “that labor” would be startled to hear that you want to put them out of work.

Don’t use a few rotten apples as evidence that fruit is unhealthy. If a thing can be made more cheaply elsewhere, it probably ought to.

Now of course we need to take into account secondary effects, especially environmental effects, but just because you think that $3/hr is a paltry wage doesn’t mean it isn’t a great living somewhere else.
