I don’t feel it’s wrong anyway to vote for a person because he’s Black. I mean, in the sense that people do that all the time. Handsome and/or pretty very often influence choice. Clinton got a lot of new votes, too. Some folks are so pissed off at that, in fact, they want to have tests to be allowed to vote. My feeling is, at least you get people engaged and that’s usually a positive thing.
i know, and i agree. i just wouldn’t call it racism even if we could show that black candidate X was attracting a greater-than-expected percentage of the black vote.
