Maybe a koi pond. Oh, wait. I can see The Kid standing next to it with his fishing pole. (He asked one of my neighbors if he could go fishing in her koi pond and she laughed as if it was the wittiest thing she’d heard all night.)

I tried that and the coyotes and raccoons ate every single koi I put in the pond. I gave up and drained the pond and filled it back in. Two months of work literally down the drain. They even pulled the water plants out and left them next to the pond.
