I’m a NW kid, grew up in Seattle just in time to be in high school for the grunge explosion, moved to Portland at age 23 because it was weirder, smaller, cheaper, cooler, and more conducive to penniless weirdo artists. I’ve been all over the country, but I can never leave the northwest. It’s my people.
