Wow! I never expected this sort of violent opposition to fighting technology with technology.

When I’m in a restaurant or an airport lounge and I can barely hear myself think because of someone yelling into his cell phone, it’s a very uncomfortable situation. Especially in the airport lounge “quiet area” where signs are posted to discourage cell phone use… And in this day and age, confronting strangers directly isn’t always the best idea.

The first problem is that it is illegal. This blog has people who don’t like us. One of them, an ex-lizard known as ‘Rodan’ has a blog called “The Diary of Daedalus” where he posts what he feels are ‘bad posts’ from LGF. Most of these are utterly acceptable posts that he is fact worked up over due to his hate, but a post like yours might well catch his attention and be used to illustrate “Charles tolerating illegal actions”. Second is that criminals use cell phone jammers to keep their victims from calling for help and by carrying a jammer you may be helping them.
