Anybody else notice that the Dems all refer to POTUS as “Barack Obama” as opposed to “President Obama”? A friend pointed this out as the Speaker of the House was fawning over the President’s herculean feat of getting the left side of the aisle to vote for wanton spending.

I think that it’s a crutch to keep people from inadvertently using a “s” in Obama following the “s” in president. I think that it’s a shrewd move. It’s unfortunate that their names are that close, and they sure don’t need more Chris Matthews out there filling the air with malapropisms.
