OT - (although is appears we are OT anyway).

I just went to the store, and driving back in, I noticed that we have workers on the top of my apartment buildings, doing roof repair.

It’s a three story building and they have set up a perimeter of plastic flags on a string, around the edge of the roof.

Ok, these guys are roofers, right? And these guys work on roofs, right? And if you worked on roofs, what would be the first thing that you would notice, that you would pay attention to?

WHERE THE EDGE OF THE FUCKING ROOF IS!

I’ve never seen this before, and I suspect because it’s not something that a roofing company had to worry about in the past.

But now, I suspect it’s part of some 1500 page rule book composed by the unions and the insurance companies.

What happened to the old-fashioned axiom “don’t fall off the roof?” My grandfather told that to me all the time.
