My mission at the shelter was to adopt a pair of littermates. I always wanted a Manx, and could not believe my luck when I saw one in a litter that hadn’t been cleared to go yet. I got him and his prettiest brother the next day.

Congrats! And good for you— seriously, I’ve never yet volunteered at a shelter but it’s on my list.
I’m sure they have a wonderful life with you, and that they enrich your life too. Pets rock!
