i don’t think it had to be permanent. he wrote the sad goodbye cruel blog email, but he didn’t get blocked or banned—then he came back to bitch and post his farewell note for TeH WUrLD to see, then he got banned. Rightly.

he wouldn’t have gotten banned even after his ‘farewell email” if he hadn’t done that— but the reality is that the people who write such emails don’t bugger off, they want some kind of cred to take to the stalker site. Hence the need to make a public flounce.
