This is idiotic. The US administration would be FOOLS to come out and voice support for the protestors as that would be immediately used as proof of the protestors seditious nature.

Seriously, this is a pivotal moment for Iran and if you follow the reporting from iranians they are basically saying “We DON’T want the support of the US, it will give us nothing but grief”.
