The Once And Future King is probably my absolute favorite. Parke Godwin did a really interesting novel about Guinevere after Arthur’s death, which I highly recommend.

The current Arthurian role-playing group I am currently embroiled with is doing a long campaign. Started before Arthur was born, and will run multi-generational (in terms of characters). The oldest of the three brothers I handle has already died (poisoned). The second eldest was at one time a bodyguard of Ygraine in Cornwall. The Game Master has done some interesting things with this as Ygraine has turned up a few times after her last husband’s death, and also made a few requests of my character that I expect to have repercussions later in the campaign. (Such as asking him to continue to try to find out what happened to her kidnapped son, and to aid him if he is ever found.)
