absolutely. at my company, we are harsh on bigots. we’ve fired people on their first ethnic slur when the circumstances warranted.

again, speech is only protected from governmental prosecution. you are free to say what you wish. i am free to refuse to sanction your speech in my workplace in order to foster a harmonious, peaceful, respectful, supportive and productive atmosphere.
