I think that’s pretty spot on. It will also be interesting to see what happens with Governor’s races and if the Republican lose the House. They’ve really made a huge mess out of their opportunity and it could cost them big time.

Yeah that’s another problem. States elect President’s not people. In states that matter like FL, MI. WI, and OH Obama can run against Republican governance and ask the people of those states if they want the same thing in the White House. Obama’s going to have to play a lot of defense, but the 2010 elections have allowed him to play a lot of offense too. If I were Romney I would not want to campaign with those governors or be tied to their policies.
