No, he really didn’t denounce him at all. Ryan said it would be good for the GOP if Akin stepped aside, but he didn’t say a single word denouncing Akin or his ideas. And the reason is because he and Akin are absolutely on the same page ideologically. Akin’s just a little stupider.
