There’s no one left to quit on him except his wife. I don’t think anyone takes him seriously as a candidate for POTUS anymore. Hell, I don’t think he takes his own candidacy seriously anymore, and if he does, he’s delusional as well as a total douche.

I think once Calllista realizes how much damage Newt’s feigned presidential run has done to their book/movie/public speaking fee business, she’ll be looking for greener (and younger) pastures of her own.
