There are plenty of dogs that look nothing like their wolf ancestors.

But almost all cats seem to have the appearance and behavior of their larger wild cousins. It’s one of the things I find so fascinating about cats.

I find watching shows about big cats interesting for that reason. They act so much like house cats.
