Trump’s candidacy brings the toughest question to answer to the forefront.

Is there any GOP candidate that can appease the guanomanic wing of the party in the primary and still get elected in the general?

Or is it more likely that a backroom deal will be struck at the convention to jettison the crazy and select someone who is actually electable?
