Setting the ID design issue aside for a moment…
My reaction to the human body is the opposite of that. I marvel at how well it all works. Cancer is tragic and yet merely one facet of all life’s natural impermanence. We all go to make room for the next. God, nature or accident of the universe, that’s the deal.
