I can see the banks making the money to repay but will the Administration accept it? So far, they have not accepted repayment.

I’m not sure if I get the explanation, but it goes something like the banks that pay back early will make the others appear weaker and may cause them trouble. I don’t have a real problem with allowing the strong banks to keep the Tarp money for a bit, better there then spent on pork. If Uncle Sugar tries to use the loaned money as a excuse to “help” run a bank that tried to return the money, ring the alarm.
