You have a point, but there should not be a law about it. Such rounds are fairly expensive and I’m not a fan of jacking up the cost of self defense.

My suggestion is that if you’re gonna get a home defense gun, just get a shotgun. Little need to aim the sucker, low chance of the shot leaving your house, devastating at close range (and unless you own a mansion odds are it will be close range) and to top it off you can scare the piss out of the robber when you pump it.
