That’s a good website for factual information about the US navy. I have a cousin who was a submariner. Very nice, smart guy… I’ve asked him about his days in the service, but he won’t say a word about what he did or where he went. That’s the rules.

Interesting to read that the US has decided to gradually tighten the screws on NoKo, and that China has told Pyongyang about what it considers truly unacceptable behavior.

Obama said that, in recent years, North Korea’s provocations have been “rewarded” as Western countries offered fuel, food and loans in exchange for promises of good behavior that are eventually broken.

“We are going to break that pattern,” Obama said after a White House meeting with South Korean President Lee Myung Bak. Obama told reporters assembled in the Rose Garden that North Korea “will not find security or respect through threats and illegal weapons.”

I have to admit, this policy is an improvement over the Bush policy (which was an improvement over Clinton’s).
