Hmph. He’s always struck me as not very bright, and completely overestimating his own intelligence and judgement. He MIGHT be smarter than most other people around, but he’s NOT smarter than the collective governments out there. (And he relied entirely on his own judgement on the “safety” of the material he released—-apparently thinking that if he can’t see anything harmful in it, nobody else could).

And you can have various bits of information that in and of themselves don’t give away much or anything, but when enough of them are combined it revels a more than the sum of the parts. I have a fear that Snowden has released enough that serious damage has been done.
