The POTUS does not control the economy, although his policies can help or hurt a bit. I like good news on the economy, but you can still not dislike the POTUS if the recession ends.

“you can still not dislike the POTUS if the recession ends?” I must be really dense, but that quote makes no sense to me. and the policies of the POTUS can help or hurt a lot. Witness the enormous deficit that my kids and grandkids will be forced to deal with as their taxes increase, thus lowering of their standard of living.
