Don’t I recall hearing when this procedure was first developed that they said we would never do genetic testing on the embryos except for the most awful of diseases?
I can appreciate the desire to want to avoid your child having to deal with horrible illness, but most people don’t get that option. And I don’t like the idea that someone’s life isn’t worth living because they have a particular genetic code.
