I guarantee you, that if Iran had some sort of cosmic power, had George Bush deposed and installed a Mullah in the white house, it’d make an impression on you. It might perhaps color your opinion of Iran! And your children’s opinion of Iran.

And if you care less about historical grievances, and yet say in the same breath that if america does X then the Iranian people will love us forever, isn’t that basically a completely uninformed opinion? if you don’t care about recent history, how are you coming up with any sort of informed opinion about Iran’s people and their trust of America?

so what…that was then, it’s a new world and a new paradigm…if you don’t draw the line somewhere you get sucked into a never ending spiral of blame and revenge…just bomb the facilities and be done with it…all this blather about past grievances is a waste of breath
