In my brazen, callow and reckless youth, I did hot-tar industrial [BUR] roofing. We never needed any flags or cones as we could see that the edge of the roof was like a horizon — the edge presented itself as a clearly delineated outline.

OSHA paid our little comunity a visit a month or two ago!
A contractor was fined 60 thou… for an employee roofing with out a harness!
Ouch!
5000 each..for extension cords with a missing ground post
