That happened more or less simultaneously with the word. I can’t speak for a black person, but I think I would be like 0_0 for at least several more seconds before doing anything.

He had just listened to 2 minutes of a song all about conservatives being falsely accused of racism, using a black idiom really, really badly.

There was plenty to be pissed off about before that N-word line.
