OK- point taken, and I agree that we shouldn’t descend to the level of our opponents. I do think that if a spouse takes on a highly visible role (as I believe Michelle is) then a certain amount of um, uh, contructive commentary may not be completely inappropriate.

Constructive criticism sure. However, from day one, Hillary was into the mix politically in other words, fair game. I am just not seeing that from Michelle. If and when she corsses that line ok.

I wouldn’t be happy about saying mean things about Laura Bush or Martha Washington either.
