“Well heck lawhawk, what do you expect? All the Dems nationwide know how to do is throw money at problems and so Dems nationwide increase taxes at incredibly increasing rates of speed.
Cut expenses? Nah, that’s so “Old School” and would take too much time to actually, you know, think about!
I really feel for my “hometown” of NYC - even small deli owners are gonna get hit by this tax the “rich” scheme - you know, those folks of Korean and Greek and all other types of ethnic backgrounds who work 7 days a week, 18 hour days, not to mention Pizza Parlor owners and “smoke shop” types and small grocers are ALL gonna have to pay more and more and more.
It’s a damn shame when folks who literally work so damn hard have to keep paying more and more for governments excesses.”
And it’s still true nationwide as well. The green thing IS something I can get behind - just as soon as they have some of it worked out (we use those 10 year weird looking light bulbs and we recycle everything that we can) and I’m in favor of Solar and Wind, but they aren’t anywhere near ready to take over the power production the US needs from fossil fuels and frankly I don’t see ‘em being, collectively, in that position for years and years to come.
