Too bad there isn’t a third party which combines the best of the other two.

My wife made this point talking about politics last weekend at the Fourth of July parade. I was explaining to her that I have no idea who to vote for this year, as on the left there’s big-government spenders, and on the right there’s completely unhinged anti-government wackjobs. She said to me, “Why can’t there just be someone in the middle?” A good question indeed.
