I don’t think we should hold that passage against Ben Shaprio, though, as it was in service to the righteous cause of smacking down Patrick Buchanan. Bad as Shapiro is, Buchanan is even worse. I find its best to hold fire on the lesser of two evils when said lesser evil is attacking the greater evil instead of you.
