The reason why they issued this ridiculous statement about dangerous journalists is pretty obvious, too. They’ve been hurt by reports that Cain’s security people are roughing up journalists, so they’re lamely trying to push back by claiming that these journalists are endangering Cain, and throwing some red meat to the anti-media right wing base at the same time.
