It doesn’t seem like there would be enough time.

Where I used to work, there was a rumor going around once, that a particular person who was hired, was hired to monitor and review everybody’s phone calls, every day, and that he was secretly recording all the phone calls and then listening to them. Everybody was in a complete panic.

So, let’s do the math.

400 people worked in the building. Let’s say, on average, all 400 spent 2 hours a day on various phone calls. That’s 800 hours of phone calls in a day. In order to review all the “taped” phone calls, there would have to have been a staff of 100 people, working 8 hours overnight, to listen to all the phone calls.

The whole thing was just stupid. I don’t know why people don’t stop to THINK about these sorts of things before they get all panicked about it.
