Yes, not all communist violence is atheistic violence, but anti-believer violence in officially atheistic communist states, i.e. violence against believers for being believers, is atheistic violence. No, it doesn’t represent atheists, but it’s still atheistic violence.
Can’t agree on that. It was violence in the name of CONTROL, and in the countries like Russia where it occurred, the Church was competition for the State for control. It was primarily to wrest control from the church, much like Henry VIII’s dissolution of the monasteries, and the establishment of the CofE.
