re: #46 wrenchwench
Thanks! I needed to get the thought, ‘It’s insufficient, might as well quit’ out of my head.
I do walk about a mile and a half every day, to work and back. Got a ride today, but did the jogging this morning.
(Doesn’t this make you think of Klys? I hope she’s getting some runs in. )
I was thinking of her. She mentioned she wasn’t packing running gear for the trip. 😞
So your walking is the good base. The jogging on top of that. Two days is good
Then slow easy increments. Only one at a time
Add a bit of distance or time. Or better add a day of jogging so it’s three of seven. Then go to every other day…as long as it takes to get there easily
I find it best to run a bit less than i think I can. I enjoy it more. Stick to it. And am motivated to find the next increase.
Any program you stay with is better than one you dont
