Considering the kind of stuff being pushed through the House, I’m actually thankful for the Senate for once.

Considering that both parties go off the deep end from time to time, it’s a good thing all around to have the Senate as a bit of a flywheel.

Our founding fathers had seen it all in Parliament and decided that senators, with six-year terms and responsible to an entire state rather than just a district, would serve that purpose. They nailed it.
