You’re missing the point. He’s not telling him not to be an athlete, I believe he’s making the point that we need a president and not someone who runs off to every major sporting event to showcase his athletic ability. At worse it’s a bad joke on him being distracted, but lately if it’s on this side, there seems to be a move to turn it into an outrage when it seems to be minor at best.
