As much as they all deserve it (and more), “The Mainstream Media” is too vague and all-encompassing. I think the award really needs to go to a specific person or organization.

Especially since the Fiskie is a (once in a) lifetime achievement award, so if we give it to the MSM now, we can never give any member of the MSM their own personal Fiskie in the future, no matter how well-deserved.

Voting for the MSM is a cop-out. Too big, too obvious, too easy. I ask Charles to reconsider its eligibility, and that those who have yet to vote show a little more thought and effort before making their choice.
