I can see where he’d leave out the Catholics (although I didn’t really think about that), but I think he’s trying to buddy up with the Jews against the Muslims. I think his constant use of the phrase is to further alienate Muslims, not to define his brand of Christianity. There is no “Judeo-Christian” sect of Christianity.

They were using the phrase long before the current obsession with Muslims sparked. I think of it as a form of cultural appropriation and control: “We’re part of you, so we all have the same agenda. Like, we read your parts of the Bible too. What? Your religion isn’t entirely based on the texts we use? You have a whole post-Biblical tradition? Well, never mind that, I didn’t hear a word of it.”
