Obama is paying 45 million, raised by donations, the other 50 million by the District and feds.

Where “the District and feds” is you and me, of course. Taxpayer money.

The original complaint about the media bias still holds. The press had stories all over tsk-tsking over Bush spending $40 million, but not a peep condemning as wasteful the $50 million in taxpayer money (and $95 million overall) by Obama.
