It’s an incredible stretch to believe that a federal government that increased discretionary spending by over 200% in the last decade cannot afford a 2.7% budget decrease. If we’ve arrived at the point where we’re counting on federal jobs to keep our heads above water then we’re already screwed.

I realize you said you logged off, but in case you’re not - what 200% increase?
