a lot of people are contrarian by nature, something that is manipulated by the likes of Fox to convince them that “Liberal media” says such-and-such, so that these people feel compelled to embrace the opposite (Fox) opinion out of sheer cussedness.

I know contrarians. This isn’t being contrarian. This is simply being an asshole.
